Give us some Infos about ur box Is your Power Supply 175W or less ? What is the power rating on the 12V rail listed on the back of the console & power supply ? Falcon is 14.2A, and Jasper must be less. Sammy

How do they know what their DVD drive is without opening their 360? and if they opened 360, why don't they know if it's Jasper or not?

guys, I give up waiting for Jasper. I am getting 360 in 2~3 days with special deal, probably $50 off for pro. I just can't wait becuz gears of war 2 is out very soon.

new 360 package came out with Kung F U panda and indiana johns bundle pack. So this is NEWER than 60GB package model came out early August. I am hoping that this IS the jasper. if not, i might be the victim of RROD but I will defeinitely post it within a week as soon as it arrives so wait for me ~!

My Gamestop guy just told me the 360’s with the new dashboard will be out 11-12-08. Surely these must have the Jaspers in it.

Did anyone think about how this was posted. I think we just got our first and only clue from a "Microsoft" employee. Everyone sees this as a fake. What if we are being told where to look??? "0839" (not out yet) and store TMSC (The Microsoft Corporation), with a smiley face at the end and the name "Gates". I think our Jasper begins at "0839" my friends. :)

I hope your joking, I'm not intimating that it's Bill Gates (but lol at the name - that is why I took it as a clue). I do find it funny that there are a bunch of little clues left in the post including, the suspected team for the build "FDOU", the "TSMC", the goofy "GATES" handle, the likely manufacture date for an "0839", probably a "Lite ON" and the goofy " :) " smiley face. Sure this guy could be pulling our chain or he just might have some inside information. Whoever posted that knows he is going to get a ribbing doing it with no pics.

Even looks like JasperHunter, 8 bit and the guys over at the Madman Muntz Jasper page have made reference to my comments and are skeptical. That's fine, I'm just trying to step back and say, maybe, just maybe we have a clue............

Anyone who is serious about your Jasper hunt should check out 8-bits Madman Muntz pages over at Seattle PI, I've been following that since the beginning of this hunt, those guys have been helping my search and are the most informed bunch. Just make sure you keep the dialog to Jasper Hunting only. We are all trying to find this thing together. Good Hunting.

People can find out what the drive is without opening the console. Just look at the shape of the tray or the colour of the wires just behind the face plate (I think). I'm on the fence as well about getting a pre-Jasper board. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and get one anyway and hopefully whenever it RROD on me they'll slip in the latest board. Here I come Marcus!

Yep I gave up too but my 360 was Manufactured August 26, 2008. The way I see it that if I really wanted a Jasper or even a valhalla when it comes out I can keep this one until then and trade it in end of next year and it wouldnt cost me much to upgrade that way!

@#15 The 0839 is already out here in Germany! Its a Arcade Bundle with a Sonic Tennis Game. This is my 0836: http://www.360drives.com/profile/3918 I don't chose the Sonic Bundle because it cost €50 more than my Arcade Version.
