Comments:
I just picked one up from a new batch which just came in and it’s really quiet, although I still hear the whining sound when it’s in idle from the Delta DC Brushless fans which always sounds with these fans I guess. Compared to my old console the fans are spinning on way less RPM and there’s no heat at all. It’s just only a breeze of room temperature, even when I play a game. No clue which motherboard it is and I compared it with the pics, but it looks different so I can’t tell it right now. The console is kinda light too, which I already noticed when I lifted the box. Anyway I’ll try to find out what I just bought! :)

Can you take a look at your Power Supply, is it 175W or less ?

And can you make some pics from your box like these

Another question, what is the power rating on the 12V rail listed on the back of the console or power supply ? Falcon is 14.2A, and Jasper must be less.

All Falcons are actually 14.2A, although apparently some of the early ones were still labeled 16.5A on the console and the PSU. The same may be true of Jasper. Try peaking through the vents and see if anything looks different than what has been described for Falcon.

Or just settle it once and for all and open that puppy up ;)

Seriously, do these ppl don't know what they are doing?

They explain about their 360 but none of them tell us about the most important thing such as voltage and wattage and amperage.

why do they even post if they can't prove any of these?

All they do is trolling, and making ppl ask for the same thing "post it plz, post it plz" and other ppl saying "oh this guy is troll cuz he is not proving..."...etc.

Stop this boring, and repeatitive trollic cycle.

I agree they should post important information like amps etc to give us a good indication of wether its a falcon or a jasper! All I can say all the reports of MS starting manufacturing of the jaspers in August must be wrong!

You might not be able to tell straight away from the ampage and volts whether you have a jasper, If MS have the old power supplies in stock they will use them up first. The 360 will only draw the power it needs and the figures given on the power supplies are the maximum it can supply.

Kevin, I think you're reaching REALLY hard here.

Only time will tell of course. 0839 would be a reasonable date for Jasper though.
