FALCON! I just wanted to post some info back to this forum as it helped me out a lot in getting information on the new 360's. Here is a list of information that I picked up ...
Lot #'s are based on the year and week of manufacture. So lot 746 is 2007 week 46
For those in Brisbane, I picked up a new falcon xbox today at K-Mart Arana Hills. The details are ...
Lot #: 746
Team: CSON
Manufacture Date: 21-11-2007
Power Supply: 175W
Box Type: "Go Pro" printed on the box and the new Go Pro picture on the side
Insides: I cannot see any heat pipes and only 2 inductors laying flat on the mobo.
The staff at K-Mart were very helpful as well. I also picked it up for $494 based on the Big W catalogue sale. Take a copy down with you. |

Hey Matman,
Thanks for all the info, it's helped me a lot. Just wanted to know if the "Go Pro" Premium also includes the Forza 2 and Viva Pinata games or is this a new serperate Xbox deal. Also, was 175W printed on the outside of the box or just on the pwer brick? (ie 203W on the outside).
Any help would be most appreciated. |

Since I bought mine from the same store the day before Matman (same lot and date) I think I can answer part of this in case he doesn't - yes this is the same Xbox deal as seen elsewhere and contains both Forza 2 and Viva Pinata in the same case.
Matman - I'd also be interested in the answer to Myron21's question - my box had 203w on the sticker on the side of the box and I was expecting to get a 175w power brick as others have (not that this matters) but got a 203w brick. Odd that two boxes from the same lot and manufacturer had different powered bricks. |

For those interested there's a picture of the box on my blog at http://ozvortex.blogspot.com/ |

Hey Ozvortex,
Thanks for your reply. It seems Microsoft are just randomly using up all the remaining 203W power bricks in the last few lot numbers as others have the new 175W brick which is strange. Like you said, it doesn't really matter (because the main thing is we both want the Falcon) but I still wouldn't mind picking up a 175W one.
Thanks for the pic, now I know what one to look out for. I read your blog, some good reading. That's a really good price, I hope my Adelaide Kmart will do the same deal. Thanks again for the info and I hope to be enjoying my new 360 in the coming days as well. |
