Definitely a Falcon. If you're interested in finding out whether you've got a Falcon chipset, you don't really have to upturn your 360 on its hard drive side or open the console up. I've come up with an easier method. If you keep the 360 horizontal, and locate the the narrow ventilation grill above the cover of the USB ports at the far end, you can determine what you've got. Firstly, shine a torch in the ventilation grille, where the Microsoft insignia is. Locate the two capacitors positioned alongside each other, and then run the torch slowly to the middle of the narrow vent and locate the centre capacitor. Just to its right, if you see an unfilled circular white marking on the motherboard (where an inductor should be), then that means you've got a Falcon.

thank for the new method. personally i would use a flashlight rather than a torch as get a more consistent light stream, and of course to prevent my house from burning down.

Ah ha so I do have a Falcon! I tried your method and voila, an empty spot for an inductor.

@cheekymonkey, thanks for the laugh. Whoever says US folk lack irony is wrong, eh? lol. I'm afraid we call flashlights "torches" over here. Check out Dictionary.com if you don't believe me. ;-)

@Brian B. Glad to be of assistance.

@AndySweeney: True, but I've got a 203W power supply and yet the chipset's a Falcon.
